Dr. Bob, a veterinarian, primarily sees cats and dogs. He works and lives in the city.
He has hired an ad agency to create new branding and advertising for his practice. The name of his practice is Cats & Dogs. The creative team working on the brand thinks illustration would be the best way to express the earnest relationship the vet has with his patients and their owners.

The ad agency has decided to use your illustrations on a poster-size billboard and a 6x9 direct mailer postcard. They have blocked-in a proposed design for each and want you to create finished illustrations for both versions. This is what they look like:
The dotted squares indicate the location of your illustrations and they are not intended to print. The agency is also giving you the opportunity to give some type and color suggestions. if you wish, for the final design as well.
A tight comprehensive illustrative mockup of your illustrations in the billboard application including type and/or color suggestions. If you wish, you may present alternative an alternative design(s) for the billboard. Mockups are due on the blog for presentation in class Tuesday, September 12th.
The ad agency gave this billboard assignment to a dozen
illustrators. They were so impressed with the variety of the images
submitted, they decided the campaign should express an eclectic
collection of cats and dogs in the city. They purchased unlimited
rights to a dozen illustrations and commissioned a dozen more from
selected illustrators to use for the billboard campaign.
